    With more than 60 years of experience, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) is one of 36 Conservation Authorities in Ontario, created to safeguard and enhance the health and well-being of watershed communities through the protection and restoration of the natural environment and the ecological services the environment provides.

    The Education Interpreter delivers hands-on environmental, cultural heritage, nature, recreation, and renewable energy programs (dependent on location) to visitors and visitor groups of TRCA/partner sites and facilities, as well potentially at client sites.

    The Education Interpreter plays an active role in customer experience ensuring all visitors have a positive experience.
    Learns program content to be able to effectively deliver interactive programs to various audiences.
    Provides support in program development and administrative tasks as required.

    Educates BCPV's summer visitors by facilitating visitor/animal interaction in a livestock-focused activity area that uses heritage breed animals to illustrate the story of the Toronto region.

    Supports daily animal care regimes and assists with animal behavior management.
    Education (degree/diploma/certifications/licenses)
    ~ Minimum pursuing a post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field.

    Demonstrates basic-level knowledge of heritage breed livestock animals and their typical care regimens.

    Experience interacting and connecting with persons of various social, cultural, or economic backgrounds; Must be flexible to work all required shifts, including weekends and holidays.
