    Description

    We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join our Delta Fitness Team in the areas of Group Fitness, Dance Fitness, Yoga, and Pilates.

    Candidates must possess a minimum of:

    One of the following:
    current BCRPA, Canfitpro, ACE, CSEP, CFES, ACSM or NSCA certifications
    Current First Aid and CPR are required.
    Preference will be given to those with 12 months or greater related experience.
    In addition to a valid group fitness certification from one of the above, we are seeking those with experience and specialty certifications in the following areas:


    Group Fitness:
    ~ Certification in Older Adult, Osteofit, Weight Training, Indoor Cycling, Fitness Boxing, Fitness Kickboxing, Boot Camp, Sport Conditioning, Suspension Training and or TRX RIP Training.


    Dance Fitness:
    Zumba Fitness, Zumba Gold, Zumba Strong and or Zumba kids
    Other Dance Fitness designations such as Pound, DancePI3Y, Bellyfit, GROOVE are additional assets we are seeking.

    Mind & Body Fitness:
    For Yoga = Trained/ Certified by YogaFit or another Yoga Alliance accredited course provider; BCRPA Yoga Fitness Registration.
    Yoga Instruction in Power, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative, lyengar, Pre-/Post-Natal, and other areas of specialization are desired.
    For Pilates= Stott Pilates Mat or BCRPA Pilates registration.
    Candidates must be available to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
    Candidates that are short-listed will be tested on their typing and computer proficiency.

    The City of Delta provides a competitive salary based on experience and certifications.
