    Are you a Lawyer who loves being a team player and is looking for a change in scenery? Our client, a law firm located in Ottawa, is seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join their team.

    Based on experienceAbout youTo be successful, you should have:1+ years of experience practicing litigation lawCalled to the Bar in Ontario and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

    Demonstrated experience in handling various stages of litigation proceedings.
    Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
    Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
    Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence.

    About the roleYour responsibilities will include:
    Research cases, identify issues, develop strategiesDraft legal docs for court proceedings —pleadings, motions, affidavits, etc.
    Represent clients in court, trials, arbitrations, and mediationsConduct examinations, cross-examinationsNegotiate settlements and ADR processes.
    Build relationships with clients, experts, and lawyers.
