The Retail Marketing role plays a crucial part in supporting all tier 3 marketing activities, ensuring VFCA Showroom marketing and operations align seamlessly with national and global priorities.
The primary objective of this position is to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of VFCA Showroom marketing.This involves overseeing the retail marketing offer, refining marketing plans and performances, developing key marketing tools and platforms (including VFCA Dealer Marketing Service (VDMS), Websites, Social Media Solutions, CRM, etc.), and diligently monitoring local activities.
The goal is to foster an optimized relationship between VFCA, VFCA Canada, VFCA Showrooms, dealers, and their customers and prospects.
Define, implement and monitor VFCA 's retail marketing strategy and ensure alignment with national programs.Collaborate with Business Development Managers and other internal teams on annual business plan KPIs for each retailer with clear marketing requirements that align with overall marketing goals
Coordinate with Product, O2O, Sales planning, F&I to communicate the retail sales offer monthly/ quarterly
Ensure marketing consistency at the local level by working with the VFCA Showroom s on areas such as: marketing planning, CI compliance, advertising, events, driving programs, direct marketing, sales round/new product launches as well as customer retention marketing
Coordinate retail marketing and brand activities to ensure a cohesive and consistent marketing message
Monitor, review and consult VFCA Showroom s on how to effectively communicate on owned platforms such as dealer websites, social media, VFCA Finder, VFCA online catalogue and other customer facing digital platforms
Optimize communication and collaboration with the VFCA Showroom s through regular newsletters, meetings and conferences.
Local experiential activations and events
Work with vendor and VFCA Showroom s to collaborate on local activations by evaluating regional potential and defining strategy for adapted programs
Optimize the usage of the CRM @ VFCA customer database to develop effective personalized customer marketing programs
Collaborate with internal partners to drive lower funnel marketing programs, ensuring optimum participation from PCL retailer network
Dealer Marketing Service and Tools
Collaborate with Digital Retail Sales team to ensure alignment and support on various VFCA owned platforms
Implement and Develop the V DMS ( VFCA Dealer Marketing Service) platform by providing turnkey Marketing solutions
Analyze and share knowledge and best practices from the VFCA Showroom s to improve the quality of national marketing programs and strategies
Assist VFCA Showroom s to optimize their web presence, SEM / SEO, social media messaging and digital direct marketing activities via new tools
Support VFCA Showroom s with CRM communication tools for various customer journey touch points throughout the buying and aftersales process
VFCA Showroom / dealer communications
Support the coordination of POS, sales literature and all other PROS ( VFCA Retail Online Shop) ordering with PAG for any Canadian required materials.
Manage the development of any locally required POS materials for showroom or in support of any PCL programs.Manage ongoing content requirements for the in showroom digital signage platform
Budget management :
Efficiently oversee and document budget expenditures based on specific store locations.
Navigate the budget claiming process through the company's approval system with diligence and accuracy.
University degree, with specialization in business, marketing .
+5 years d eveloping and executing impactful retail marketing campaigns and activations within the automotive industry, with a focus on franchise operations and large business collaborations.
Proven track record of successful retail marketing strategies tailored for franchise operations within the automotive sector.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Be driven by consumer insights, understanding of industry trends, online advertising trends, and web and social media best practices.
Creative thinker with the ability to design engaging and innovative experiences.Ability to deliver under tight timelines, be flexible within a start-up environment.
Experience in managing marketing budgets effectively, optimizing resources to achieve maximum impact for small and large-scale retail operations.
Previous market representation & network development experience is highly valued .
