    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, your responsibilities include monitoring the profitability of current rates and analyzing them. You will play a key role in ensuring the financial success of their insurance products through analysis and strategic partnership.

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    • Rate analysis and comparison, overseeing profitability for Personal and Commercial Lines
    • Forecasting and exploring new avenues for growth
    • Review contract renewals with insurers, work collaboratively on new profitability perspectives
    • Lead and manage various projects
    • Mentor and coach junior team members

    THE REQUIREMENTS

    • Academic background in actuarial science
    • Must have 3 years of experience in P&C actuarial
    • Demonstrated project experience in pricing analysis, monitoring, reporting, and modeling
    • Progressing in CAS exams
    • Proficiency in VBA, Python, R would be an asset

    COMPENSATION

    • $90,000 - $110,000 base salary depending on experience + target bonus
    • Competitive benefits package including extended health benefit plans start from day 1, premium paid 100% by employer
    • Pension plan
    • 3-4 weeks paid vacation + flex days
    • Option to work hybrid or fully remote anywhere from Ontario or Quebec
    • Training provided, education support
