    Description

    Are you a corporate paralegal who's grown sick of the big firm culture? Do you enjoy working on high quality and interesting work? Our client is a leading boutique law firm based in Downtown Vancouver.

    Their team of lawyers come from internationally recognised law firms and they boast a social work environment
    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate paralegal to work in a highly regarded law firm.

    As a corporate paralegal joining the Corporate Services Department, you will be responsible for:

    Supporting approximatley 11 business lawyers on transactional work and also maintaining their corporate minute books (BC, Federal and EPRs) along with all their ongoing corporate governance filings and related matters
    Supporting the lawyers in high level commercial transactions
    Formation and governance matters relating to corporations (including not for profits) and partnerships
    Assist with preparation of documentation for commercial transactions; Due Diligence review of corporate records and preparation of rectification resolutions as well as conducting and reviewing public searches in connection with due diligence matters
    Minimum 3 years of experience as a corporate/commercial paralegal in a busy firm environment


    • Proficiency in MS Office along with intimate knowledge of ALF and BC Online
    • Experience with Worldox, Workshare Compare, PC Law is an asset
    • Detail-oriented individual with good proofreading skills
