Account Payable Technician

Your challenge will be to:

Post vendor invoices and enter them into the system. Investigate discrepancies when necessary;
Record credit card transactions and ensure complete documentation;
Validate and record expense accounts;
Analyze the age of accounts payable and make the necessary reconciliations;
Prepare the necessary documentation to execute the payment cycle;
Perform credit card reconciliations;
Assists with accounts receivable activities as required;
Perform any other reconciliations or ad hoc analyses at the request of the supervisor;
Participate in various special projects when required;

What you bring to the team:

Have a DEC in accounting, finance, management, administration or any other relevant field;
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
Excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written;
Strong sense of organization with a sense of priorities, autonomy and analytical mind;
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel intermediate minimum);
Rigor, attention to detail, focused on results and deadlines;
Professionalism with a strong sense of work ethic;
Demonstrated experience with a large accounting system (asset).
