    Overview of The Role

    Under the supervision of the Senior Accountant, the incumbent will be responsible to perform various accounting tasks which are mostly comprised of monthly journal entries. Your duties will also include:

    How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

  • Prepare journal entries;
  • Perform bank reconciliations;
  • Support the accounting team with the preparation of monthly and ad-hoc analysis for the various corporate functions (e.g. HR, communications, legal etc....) such as;

    • Account balances

    Variances to comparable period and to budget

    Monthly deck prepared for upper management

  • Assist the team with audit requests;
  • Prepare quarterly statistical reports;
  • Assist the team in the preparation of budgets;
  • Communicate with our different divisions concerning certain expenses;
  • Prepare templates for quarterly expense analysis;
  • Any other corporate accounting related tasks.

    • You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

  • Completion of College Diploma in accounting;
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position;
  • Ability to interact with other departments and business partners;
  • Strong organization and communication skills;
  • Bilingualism (written and spoken) essential;
  • Strong skills with the Office suite, knowledge of SAP and Workiva would be an asset;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and to meet tight deadlines.

    • As part of his duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.
