    Description
    Global Financial Firm located in Mississauga, ON has a contract opportunity for a skilled Senior Web Engineer.

    This role offers a Hybrid Schedule requiring reliable internet, computer, and smartphone for remote access into client systems. In-office presence is needed 3 days a week.

    • Video/face-to-face interviews are part of the process.
    Job Purpose:

    We are seeking talented web developers to enhance our trading application. A strong understanding of software design and technical ability is necessary for this challenging opportunity.

    Job Background/context:

    G10 Rates Technology delivers technology solutions to Global G10 Rates business, encompassing sales, risk, pricing, and more. Joining this team offers exposure to front office trading and finance.

    The Fixed Income business has a growth plan, providing opportunities to develop technical skills.

    Qualifications
    Required Technical Skills:
    • 7+ years of experience in enterprise trading applications
    • Proficiency in Angular 14.0+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SAAS/LESS
    • Experience with cross-platform applications using Web technologies
    • Proficiency in build pipelines and application deployments
    • Experience with Reactive programming, real-time data streaming, and Angular Grid Library
    • Unit testing and consuming JSON-based data
    • Familiarity with various tools and platforms
    Other Skills:
    • Project management experience
    • System analysis and software programming
    • Web Applications Development expertise
    • Strong communication skills and adaptability
    • Leadership qualities
    Recommended:
    • Experience with C#/.NET and object-oriented programming
    • Extra experience with certain platforms and libraries
    Nice To Have:
    • Experience with specific trading platforms and data visualization libraries

    Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
