    Description

    One of our top property management clients is seeking a Leasing Administrator in downtown Toronto. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the regional and property teams with lease interpretation, tenant inquiries, administration of lease documents, and billing. Our client is currently operating in a hybrid work model (4 days on site and 1 day work from home).

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze Tenant Proposal Forms to ensure accuracy and identify potential financial risks.
    • Consult with Leasing Executive to address identified risks and suggest alternative solutions.
    • Manage Tenant Proposal Forms throughout the leasing process, ensuring timely importation into Yardi.
    • Facilitate accurate financial and operational reporting.
    • Review Document Request Forms to ensure proper tracking of amendments in Yardi.
    • Administer signed documents such as Leases, Lease Amending Agreements, Specialty Leasing Agreements, and License Agreements, ensuring correct billing.
    • Identify lease exceptions related to recoveries and manage them in Yardi and the Recovery Manual.
    • Conduct lease exceptions analysis to assess the financial impact of selected deals.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to property teams on lease interpretation and tenant queries.
    • Monitor the setup of deals in Yardi to ensure compliance with revenue policies and procedures, calculate monthly recoveries, and post recovery accruals.
    • Offer training on the commercial management section of Yardi to property and regional teams.
    • Collaborate with Leadership to implement new system initiatives and revenue procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, or legal studies.
    • 3-5 years of experience in the property management industry.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities, adept at multitasking.
    • Detail-oriented, analytical, and customer-service focused with a proactive approach.
