    Description
    This position is an entry level Service Technician receiving extensive initial training.

    The Apprentice is mainly responsible for developing technical and customer service skills, while assisting senior Technicians and Team Leaders and at times working independently.

    Assist in the installation, inspection, service and repair of equipment in the field under the direction of a senior Technician.

    May also be assigned to performance planned maintenance and other uninvolved tasks.
    Complete all required training classes and modules to demonstrate proficiency and understanding.

    Using the handheld devices (or paper backup forms if needed) accurately complete all necessary paperwork associated with field service, repair and installation including service tickets, time sheets, open job tracking form and safety analysis sheets.

    Maintain compliance with operation and communication standards as per the Field Service Technician Handbook.
    This position requires the operation of truck-based cranes, forklifts, welders, torches, and power and hand tools.
    Follow all customer-specific requirements, policies, and directions on their work sites.
    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Develop technical skills, knowledge of supported product lines, and proficiency in following our policies and procedures.

    Timely and proper completion of assigned tasks, either individually or under the guidance of a senior Technician.
    Compliance with all company policies and safety guidelines.

    Prior mechanical, electrical or welding experience helpful but not required.
    CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/


    REGISTRATIONS:
    Requires a valid drivers license and passing DOT medical exam and applicable driver qualification standards.

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Use these definitions for the frequency of occurrence.
