    Description

    TITLE: ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY

    REPORTING TO: GROUP DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY OR MANAGING DIRECTOR


    OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Associate Director is the go-to contact for the business, responsible for maintaining client relationships and internal collaborations with the agency's account group, investment team, and SBU's.


    You will lead a team of curious individuals to generate innovative ideas across all media platforms.


    In collaboration with the Group Director or Business Director, you will also contribute to the management of your team by leading interviews, evaluating performance, and fostering career development.

    A TYPICAL DAY

    • Main point of contact for client's business
    • Responsible for offering strategic insights to the client
    • Training and guiding Senior Strategists and Supervisors
    • Supervising training and mentoring of junior strategists
    • Owning and overseeing team performance, guiding their work, empowering them, ensuring results, and providing necessary resources and support
    • Understanding client market dynamics
    • Developing creative plans according to strategy
    • Ensuring quality control and applying OMD Design principles
    • Utilizing OMD Research Tools in planning
    • Collaborating with various teams for strategic plan execution
    • Preparing and presenting reports and analyses to clients
    • Coordinating client promotions with media
    • Ensuring competitive non-broadcast rates and maximizing added value
    • Keeping up-to-date with emerging media trends
