As part of the wider Environment division, you'll be at the heart of the business with the opportunity to work alongside a variety of environmental and engineering professionals across Canada and our global regions.
This is a senior level role and could be based out of one of our offices across the Prairies or Ontario (Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, or Toronto).
Reporting to the National Director of Environmental Permitting and Management, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the operational activities of a dynamic team of 20+ employees.
Manage a team of professionals and engineers and implement methods and procedures according to corporate standards.Oversee the direction of projects executed in the team. (Environmental impact study, permitting, environmental management, biophysical monitoring etc.).
Ensure collaboration within the team, across the Environment technical professional organization and with other technical professional organizations within AtkinsRéalis.
Identify and assign qualified team members for bid collaborations and on project execution.Contribute to workforce planning through the identification of appropriate skillsets and capabilities to support the delivery of current and future market strategies.
Actively participate in the professional development of the department's employees to maintain a renowned expertise in environmental assessment.Be a leader of Atkins Realis' safety, ethics & compliance, equality, diversity, and inclusion culture.
Provide support to our multiple business lines to deliver on their project's environmental mandates.
