    Vintage Group: Calgary's culinary leaders, we operate some of Canada's most notable and aware-winning restaurants as each of our concepts are unique in style, cuisine, and experience.

    Vintage Group and its venues are known for their experience, knowledge, and attention to service with assessable menus that range from Calgary's original BBQ shack, fresh Italian cuisine, classic Steakhouses, and neighbourhood comfort cuisine. We are serious about keeping our consistency thorough by utilizing local and freshly harvested ingredients at each bar and kitchen helm.

    Job Description: Director of Operations

    Vintage Group is a Calgary-based National Award-Winning Restaurant Group. With ten restaurants under development, we are looking for the best-in-class hospitality people. As the Director of Operations, you will have a passion for people, sales, and profits. You will be involved in creating and developing new concepts. Our culture means you will create and develop amazing people to grow with the company.

    General Responsibilities

    · Establish, direct and review performance standards in food and beverage preparation and production to ensure effective, controlled and coordinated results (quality, recipe adherence, service, etc.)

    · Remain current on federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations with respect to our industry.

    · Produce approved budget and operate within established guidelines.

    · Deal with all guest comments, whether positive or negative.

    · Develop with our chef's culinary excellence.

    · Develop with our Bar Managers Handcrafted cocktails.

    · Review and budget for all financial results.

    · Ensures that restaurant GM's/Managers and business owners have full authority, support and autonomy, and the tools necessary to achieve results.

    · Ensures execution consistently aligns with company guidelines.

    · Identifies market changes and trends driving improvements and efficiencies.

    · Analyze financial impact of marketing and operations initiatives.


    •Strong leadership experience in high volume. *
    •Goal driven and organized. *
    •Excellent communication skills. *
    •Dedicated to continuous learning. *
    •Minimum 3 years of multi-unit restaurant operations of a full-service restaurant chain. *
    •Ability to interact positively and professionally with people at all levels, both externally and internally. *
    •Demonstrate financial acumen with P&L statements, annual budgets, forecasting, COGS, and labour models.
