Job Description:

About This Role

We are seeking a Db2 for z/OS Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team providing system support of Db2 for z/OS in the Mainframe Database Technical Services group.

Accountabilities:

Maintain Db2z Databases on the z/OS platform.
Support Db2z related products.

Requirements:

Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:

College / University or equivalent work experience

Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

Sound understanding of Db2z Databases internal and/or external
Sound understanding of Db2z component and architecture
Sound knowledge of Db2z diagnostics tools (Broadcom Db-Tools, Db2 Utilities is an asset)
Performance analysis skills is an asset
Sound programming skills, Assembler and Cobol knowledge is an asset
Good written and verbal communication skills
