    Senior Product Developer (PD)

  • New Product Development:
  • Identify Customer Objectives and Technical Requirements
  • Formulate – digital – for cost, certifications, functionality
  • RM's required (review for purchasing/LT/certification requirements/etc...)
  • RD's – if required (and permitted) – use vendor tracker and reach out as required.
  • We will build a template to assist to ensure relevant info is shared.
  • Track RD's for your projects on RD file, track ETA's for your projects, etc...
  • Upload RD documents in your project folder on SHAREPOINT365
  • Test formula – pilot plant
  • Ship sample for customer approval/feedback
  • Develop & Refine process –pilot plant
  • Define Quality Parameters to produce consistent and food safe product
  • Translate process to WI for PRODUCTION Floor and process flow for route creation
  • Engage x-functional business partners as required throughout entire process via STM routine & keep dashboard up-todate for assigned projects
  • Knowledge Management:
  • Act as consultant to fellow product developers – provide guidance and input on projects as required
  • Contribute in clear, meaningful and supportive ways to technical conversations at team meetings
  • Organize and Document categories of products and critical knowledge of each for others to reference
  • Department Leadership & Special Projects:
  • Execute special area's critical to department functioning. Examples include but are not limited to:
  • overseeing analytical equipment, testing and staff. Maintaining the operations of PD kitchen and Tech Room
  • Product Re-work and technical guidance to production teams
  • Ways of Working Clarity & work-flow set-up & training

    • Soft Skillsets: In addition to technical expertise, is expected to cultivate a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement and should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. They should also demonstrate leadership qualities to inspire and motivate their team and peers towards achieving organizational goals. Forward looking planning while maintaining flexibility and adaptability are essential, as the role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly.
