    Main Purpose:

    We are recruiting a Data Integration Developer; who is knowledgeable in the full data integration lifecycle in a complex and demanding commercial environment.

    This candidate will be part of a global team responsible for the ingestion, management, provision of both market data, and fundamental data; for the use of business analysts, data scientists, traders and applications such as dashboards and trading systems.

    Data ingestion / integration, ETL/ELT data pipeline design, data modelling, data provisioning
    Python, SQL
    AWS data stack (E.g. Experience with data related to commodities, financial markets, power generation, weather or shipping would be a plus
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related subjects
    Experience with enterprise scale data systems
    Understanding and experience implementing software engineering best practices
    Ability to work as part of a global team using agile management methods
    The Data Science and Engineering team researches, develops, and provides advanced analytics and data services to the trading business, and other commercial operations at Trafigura
    It is comprised of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Quantitative Finance experts
    It is a commercially driven, front office aligned team that works in close partnership with the trading desks, global research and enterprise technology
    Report into the DSE Global Data Engineering Manager, who reports into the DSE Head of Engineering.
