    Work Model: 4 days in office, 1 day at home

    Our client in the Engineering space is looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper to join their team. Working with the accounting team and responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • AR/AP, invoice preparation, issuance & vendor postings.
  • Reconciling various disbursement billings and payments.
  • Post & maintain journal entries.
  • Issue monthly vendor statements and follow up AR payments.
  • General office admin tasks and supportive duties.
    • Requirements:
  • Accounting Diploma certification or equivalent.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • 1-5 years of general accounting experience.
  • Experience in Engineering/Architectural or professional services office (preferred).
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Onedrive. etc.), Quickbooks, or Deltek (preferred).
  • Have attention to detail and be well organized.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Computer savvy: able to learn new software quickly.
