    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance - Supervisor

    Department: Operations

    Job Purpose: To support C.P. Services vision / mission through contribution to achieving established organizational goals while adhering to company values

    Reporting To: Facilities Maintenance - Manager (Or designate)

    Education

  • Bachelor's degree / associates' degree / or certification in business, civil, engineering, or mechanics
  • A valid mechanical discipline Journeyperson Certificate or an Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate
  • Occupational health and safety certification
  • Training & Development

  • Project management professional (PMP) designation
  • National construction safety certification (NCSO)
  • Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supervision or field coordination in a multi-discipline mechanical trade environment
  • Experience conducting safety or incident investigations
  • Work Schedule

  • Monday - Thursday
  • 7:00am - 5:00pm Mountain Standard Time
  • 10 hours per day
  • Location: Cenovus - Christina Lake

    Accommodations: Camp Provided

    Travel: Flights from Edmonton or Calgary provided

    Capabilities required for this position

  • Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).

    Position Key Tasks

    · Assist in financial planning for the facilities maintenance department

    · Submit financial information to the Finance Department to generate reports as required

    · Assist Finance Department with financial analysis as required

    · Ensure contractor understanding of health & safety policies, processes, procedures, and expectations

    · Monitor contractor health & safety performance

    · Create and update resource loaded schedules

    · Coordinate delivery of supplies and equipment as required

    · Coordinate accommodations as required

    · Coordinate travel as required

    · Address worker operational concerns

    · Ensure worker understanding of operational policies, processes, procedures, and expectations

    · Monitor worker operational performance

    · Measure worker operational performance

    · Analyze worker operational performance

    · Improve worker operational performance

    · Control worker operational performance

    · Draft corrective actions as required and submit to Human Resources Department

    · Assist Human Resources Department in issuing corrective actions to workers when required

    · Assisting workers with the use of FieldCap as required

    · Ensure worker understanding of operational policies, processes, procedures, and expectations

    · Monitor worker operational performance

    · Assist with invoicing process as required

    · FieldCap PO module for purchases

    · Approving vendor invoices

    · Create project budgets

    · Manage project budgets
