Plus, get the chance to contribute to special projects that will set you apart.Boeing Vancouver is seeking Software Development Intern to work with the Digital Aviation Solutions Software Engineering and Advanced Technology team.
This is a full-time, up to 8 month internship opportunity based out of Richmond, British Columbia office, starting in early September, 2024.

Software Development:
This includes designing, coding, debugging, and testing software applications.
Collaborating with the project stakeholders and scrum teams: Working closely with teams to understand requirements, contribute to discussions, present and demo any assigned work and provide input on technical solutions.
Learning and applying programming languages and technologies: This may involve learning new programming languages, understanding existing codebases, and adapting to different development environments.
This may involve self-learning, attending training sessions, or participating in knowledge-sharing activities within the team.Adhering to project timelines and deliverables: Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student with an accredited university or college with studies in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
Must be at least a 2nd year or higher student with studies in a relevant program
Experience using Microsoft Office which includes Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Willing and able to work 40 hours per week during the internship
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Previous internship experience
Experience in Java development
Experience working with Python
Experience in development environments such as Git CI/DevOps tools
Extracurricular activities related to leadership, community involvement, volunteering or teaming are an asset
Knowledge of Agile for software engineering
*Graduates are ineligible unless continuing in post graduate studies.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
The range for this internship is $22.50 CAD hourly.
