    Description

    Position: Production and Inventory Management Specialist at CAE

    In this role, you will collaborate with inventory management and logistics to place mini markets (kanban) in production cells and ensure their maintenance. Responsibilities include adjusting parameters in Oracle ERP systems, monitoring KPIs, and adhering to division policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Review new mini market (kanban) requirements and implement necessary changes.
  • Prioritize implementations for stock availability to meet project deadlines.
  • Serve as a liaison for manufacturing, assembly cells, industrial engineering, and logistics.
  • Facilitate clear communication and ensure follow-up among teams.
  • Evaluate business needs continuously and make necessary adjustments.

    • Requirements:

  • College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (operations and production management), industrial engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in unionized manufacturing environments is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in sourcing and Material Resource Planning (MRP) software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and excellent team player.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
  • Bilingualism is a requirement.
