    Company DescriptionForward House provides support to adults with an Intellectual Disability to live in their own homes, work and participate in their communities.

    Role DescriptionDemonstrate an ability to apply leadership and managerial principles in an ever-changing environment, including: effective delegation, conflict resolution, crisis management and employee engagement and motivation.

    Ability to lead people and changeAccountability to the organization's Principles of Service, Mission, Policies and Procedures, and any MCCSS directives/Compliance/QAM and the Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities ActDemonstrate independence in decision makingWorking with and managing direct support professionals and ensuring all aspects of support meet the Mission, Principles of Service, Policies and Procedures, MCCSS directives/Compliance/QAMAbility to communicate clearly, with all team members and community partnersSome experience in using digital forms of communication, documentationFlexibility in hours of workParticipation in on call duties on a regular rotational basisForward House is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and supported individuals feel valued, respected and supported.
