    Title:

    Electronic Technician Maintenance II

    KBR is seeking to hire an Electronic Technician Maintenance II position to support a government customer located in Washington, DC.

    Position Description:

    • Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from supervisor.
    • Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities.
    • Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site.
    • Prepares materials and builds and erects a broad range of structures in support of plant construction and maintenance activities.
    • Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
    • Under supervision, installs raceway, wiring and cable, junction boxes, power distribution systems, electronic controls, instrumentation, analyzers and analyzer houses, and related switches and fixtures. Terminates, repairs, or replaces electrical circuitry, troubleshoots electrical installation, and performs minimal technical work with experienced systems supervision.
    • Diagnoses mechanical and electrical systems problems. Services, troubleshoots, repairs and/or replaces, aligns, and maintains mechanical and electrical instrument systems, system components, motor control circuits and power supplies.
    • Possesses a working knowledge of the national electric code and basic fundamentals of electricity and demonstrates the ability to read and understand electrical schematics, instrument loop drawings, and detail drawings.
    • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
    • Performs other duties and activities as directed.

    Qualifications:

    • A high school diploma with 2 years experience
    • The applicant must be eligible to obtain a security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
    • Must be able to attain and maintain an active Top Secret /SCI required for position.

    This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position.
