    Description
    This is a contract position for a Report Developer for our public sector client.
    Work location: 21 College Street, Toronto

    Duration: 12 months

    7.25 hours/day
    This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

    Responsibilities


    • Create Power BI report(s), data models
    • Undertake special assignments/sub-projects as assigned
    • Conduct, assess, evaluate and document stakeholder interests and business needs
    • Ensure alignment and adherence to IT processes and standards
    • Support the testing team during system and UAT testing
    • Participate in Knowledge transfer
    Qualifications


    • Use Power Query to extract data from different data sources and choose a storage mode and connectivity type.
    • Profile, clean, and load data into Power BI
    • Design data models that are intuitive, high-performing, and simple to maintain
    • Create compelling Power BI report designs and report formatting, including report navigation for all audience types (executive, operational)
    • Examine, sort and present data using Power BI in a cohesive manner
    • Connect Power BI reports to data sources
