    Description

    Purpose of the Role:

    To provide commercial finance support to the International Platform as the Group, particularly the Platform is undergoing significant growth for foreseeable future.

    Qualifications & Experience:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience in financial reporting and exposure to IFRS
  • Knowledge of controls. Experience on controls and remediation/audit is advantageous
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and sustain good working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Experience within the Insurance Industry, with an understanding/aptitude of international operations is advantageous

    • Person Specification:

  • Ability to work independently or within a team depending on the circumstance.
  • Good knowledge of controls.
  • Adaptive to change and promote change within the relevant sub-platform.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to adapt approach, think on your feet, and have a can-do mentality
  • Robust and pragmatic, with the ability to manage conflicting demands across several areas.
  • Ability to work under pressure when necessary.
