    COMPANY DESCRIPTION

    The Marketing & Communications Director, a member of the executive team based in Calgary, will report directly to the CEO and help to position the company for international growth through the development and implementation of a sound strategic marketing strategy.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Develop and execute an integrated strategic marketing plan to enhance the company's global brand identity both strategically and operationally
    • Create a marketing strategy to position the company effectively with key clients and industry stakeholders in current, new, and emerging markets
    • Strategize, execute, and manage branding/marketing initiatives, advertising/marketing communications, social media, events, public relations, and market analysis
    • Demonstrate strong decision-making, assertiveness, and leadership skills while upholding integrity, transparency, and professionalism
    • Possess solid operational expertise, including financial planning, budget management, data interpretation, reporting, and establishing crucial performance indicators

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Relevant industry background and knowledge of competitors
    • Advanced designation in engineering and/or marketing and communications
    • Track record of establishing and enhancing fruitful partnerships
    • Demonstrated expertise in marketing frameworks, strategy formulation and implementation, marketing analytics, and research techniques
    • Outstanding interpersonal abilities to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
