Right now we're looking for an Integration Specialist Developer. This position is responsible for supporting the IT Development division of the hospital and providing technical support for understanding of translating data from one system to another, interfacing techniques system workflow, working knowledge of data feeds and integration engine technologies. The Senior Integration specialist will be providing expertise while implementing multiple use cases to integrate health care systems. Implement and develop HL7/JSON/XML interfaces based on third party specifications. Investigate document and escalate reported integration problems and concerns with the support team, onboarding customer and /or EHR/EMR Vendor. Elaborate and execute a project plan for new integration projects including test plans. Evaluate and select appropriate software and suggest integration methods. Prepare, test and document connection changes (ex Web Services, SFTP, TCP/IP etc) for new integrations between other vendors and organization. Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business objectives.

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent amount of education and work experience
Certificate in Project management an asset
Minimum of 3 years experience in hospital information with an understanding of translating data from one system to another, interfacing techniques system workflow, working knowledge of data feeds and integration engine technologies.
3+ years knowledge of SQL queries, SQL server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Experience working in a hospital setting preferred
3+ years knowledge of Oracle, Cystal Reporting or SQL Server Databases
Strong experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with Meditech Data Repository an asset
Hands-on knowledge of Health Level 8 (HL7) an asset
