The Role:

At Agrocrop Foods, we solve Private Label problems.


Agrocrop is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to build our QA function within a new business unit.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the QA Manager will be responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to food quality standards, monitor and conduct audit processes, material, and product testing against established standards and conducts a continuous analysis of quality.

Identifies deficiencies or gaps in testing activities and develops solutions to ensure adequate and robust quality processes. Optimizes processes to comply with existing and new regulatory requirements.

This position will have two-three direct reports reporting to them that will need to be hired as the department is built.


The key priorities for this role include:

  • Develop, implement, Maintain and monitor control systems to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer and company requirements.
  • Ensure BRC compliance and implementation of full program.
  • Develop full HACCP plan and oversee the implementation of it
  • Supervise implementation and continuous improvement of the BRC program.
  • Manage all external and internal facility BRC audit and recertification and lead implementation of post audit corrective action.
  • Provide employee Training on GMP's, HACCP, Sanitation, and Food Safety Topics.
  • Distribute, review, and update existing sanitation program and follow up on execution.
  • Manager the data integrity for new and existing raw material, collect the samples and send to the lab, review results and ensure that adequate Allergen Program is in place.
  • Manage the Food Safety Program to ensure it is in alignment with the regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Work with Design Companies as directed by Customer to develop Artwork for new SKU's.
  • Constant communication and coordination with Customers Suppliers, Laboratories etc.

Qualification:

years' proven working experience as a Quality Assurance Manager

  • Building a department and Change Agent is required
  • FOOD Manufacturing experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite
  • Ability to work in fastpaced, multitasking environment.
  • Strong communication skills: ability to communicate information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, fast learner, and quick thinker.
