Description

We are looking for an Inventory Control Roll Stock Coordinator for our East corrugated plant's location. Reporting to Director of Manufacturing East, this position controls accuracy of finished goods and roll stock inventory.

This role requires the incumbent to cover 3 other locations (Midwest, Brimley, & Whitby)

What you will be doing:

Reconciles finished goods and roll stock inventories using the Amtech system
Leads weekly cycle count and monthly and quarterly physical counts of finished goods and roll stock inventories
Troubleshoots inventory inaccuracies and identifies root causes
Works with shipping, rolls receiving, and corrugator teams to eliminate root causes
Counts and reconciles CPC and CHEP pallet inventories and prepares necessary reports
Orders pallets as required
Keeps track of customer pallets and other required supplies, reviews future orders and ensures sufficient stocks are available
Assists in developing historical finished goods and roll stock usage reports and identifying proper stocking levels
Provides backup to Planners
Performs other duties as required

What you will bring to the table:

Travel between three plants, vehicle required.
Bachelor's degree / College Diploma or equivalent related work experience required.
Previous experience in an Inventory Control function/computerized environment would be an asset
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products; specifically Excel
Ability to work weekends as required to perform period end inventory counts
Strong/effective communication skills
Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Ability to work autonomously and with little direction in a high volume, fast paced environment
Ability to present themselves in a professional manner
