    Reporting directly to the Mobile Assets Manager, the Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the management and maintenance of our company's mobile assets, including vehicles, equipment, and other resources.

    Responsible for directly managing shift supervisors, mechanics, and administrative staff within the department – Approximately 24 employees
    Communicating with schedulers to manage the flow and productivity of the shop ensuring that production needs and goals are met
    Manage costs and work towards continuous improvement on internal and external costs for asset maintenance
    Perfect and maintain AIM maintenance plans while considering market priorities for equipment
    Conducting performance reviews
    Licensed 310T or 421A
    Minimum of 3 years experience in a management position
    Strong understanding of current trucks and trailers on the road
    Ability to understand, manage, and process invoices
    Fleet knowledge and experience
    Experience in heavy equipment maintenance including material handlers and loaders – Liebherr and CAT knowledge preferred
    Knowledge of hydraulics as well as industrial lifting equipment
