We are looking for an experienced Custodian to join our team in Utopia, ON.

The Custodian is responsible for keeping assigned facility area clean and orderly by performing periodic cleaning and maintenance, reporting need for repairs, and replenishing of supplies as required in order to maintain a clean environment for the day-to-day operations of the facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prioritize tasks to maintain the cleanliness of assigned facility areas, offices, restrooms, and break rooms using a variety of cleaning methods including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, hand scrubbing, disinfecting, emptying garbage's, replenishing supplies.

Tasks require lifting of up to 20 lbs. regularly or 40 lbs. occasionally as well as reaching for /pushing and pulling various weights

Skills, Education & Experience

High School or equivalent
Previous janitorial and/or cleaning experience is an asset
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
Detail oriented and capable of completing all cleaning and sanitizing activities for office and industrial areas
Organized, punctual, efficient and safety focused
