**Responsibilities**

The Consortium national de formation en santé at Laurentian University (CNFS-LU) aims to improve access to bilingual health professionals in official language minority communities and increase health services targeting these communities. As such, CNFS-LU engages in recruitment and retention activities and helps improve and strengthen the various health programs offered in French. CNFS-LU also contributes to research capacity development to better grasp the health needs of Ontario's francophone communities.

Reporting to the manager of CNFS-LU, the incumbent will develop, implement and assess various CNFS-LU activities. The incumbent will represent CNFS-LU and Laurentian University at a variety of events on campus or in the community to improve visibility and outreach. The incumbent must be able to correspond with a large number of participants and community partners and perform various administrative tasks according to methods in place.

The project officer must carry out part or all of the following duties:

- Prepare detailed work plans ;
- Implement recruitment, training and research activities, and coordinate with participating departments and organizations ;
- Facilitate training or information sessions for high school and postsecondary students ;
- Evaluate CNFS projects and activities by collecting quantitative and qualitative data ;
- Ensure regular updates and management of social media accounts ;
- Conduct research to develop new initiatives and partnerships ;
- Collect and compile the data and information required in the Health Canada template;
- Maintain financial records and check final invoices;
- Respond to inquiries ;
- Maintain and prepare reports from paper or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists or databases ;
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence received by mail or electronically ;
- Sort, verify and process request forms, receipts, expenses and other documents.

**Qualifications**
- A university degree, preferably in the health field
- A minimum of two years of experience in project management
- Teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and manage priorities while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Excellent sense of organization, initiative, tact and discretion
- Capacity for critical analysis
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work flexible hours (occasionally)
- Proficiency with social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter).

**Hours of work**

The official University hours of operation shall be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, during, and including, the months from September to April, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday through Friday during and including May to August., amounting to thirty-three and three-quarter hours per week.

**Fonctions**

Les objectifs du Consortium national de formation en santé - volet Université Laurentienne (CNFS-UL) consistent à favoriser un accès accru aux professionnels de la santé bilingues dans les communautés de langue officielle en situation minoritaire et d'accroître l'offre de services de santé ciblant ces communautés. Ainsi, le CNFS-UL s'engage aux activités de recrutement et de rétention ainsi qu'à l'amélioration et la consolidation de l'offre de ses divers programmes de santé offerts en français. De plus, le CNFS-UL contribue au développement de la capacité de recherche visant à mieux cerner les besoins en santé des communautés francophones de l'Ontario.

Le ou la titulaire du poste relève de la gestionnaire du CNFS-UL et développe, met en œuvre et évalue diverses activités du CNFS-UL. La personne représente le CNFS-UL et l'Université Laurentienne lors de diverses activités sur campus ou dans la communauté afin d'y assurer une visibilité et un rayonnement. Le ou la titulaire doit être en mesure de correspondre avec un grand nombre de participants et de partenaires communautaires et doit effectuer diverses tâches administratives conformément aux méthodes établies.

L'agent de projets exerce une partie ou l'ensemble des fonctions suivantes sous la supervision et selon la demande de la personne gestionnaire:

- Préparer des plans de travail détaillés pour les projets assignés ;
- Mettre en œuvre des activités de recrutement, formation et recherche et coordonner avec les départements et organismes impliqués ;
- Animer des séances de formation ou d'informations aux étudiants des établissements secondaires et postsecondaires ;
- Assurer l'évaluation des projets et activités qui lui sont assignés à l'aide de collecte de données quantitatives et qualitatives ;
- Assurer des mises à jour régulières et la gestion des compt
