Your contribution
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Application Support

-
Python, Javascript & SuiteScript:

Develop scripts to accurately poll power consumption data from infrastructure devices. Envoke these scripts through Logstash and other mechanisms. Extend or ammend ERP scripts.

ERP (NetSuite) Support

Respond to and resolve internal development support tickets as required. Participate in team "work in progress" sessions.

Other Duties 25%

Extend ERP systems functionatliy by writing clean, tested code and crafting good documentation where appropriate
Delivering highquality work that adheres to standards and best practices
Advising on solutions to presented problems (timeframe, hurdles, etc)
Increase transparency by leverage development toolsets (Jira, Confluence, etc)
Perform ERP data migration and upload activities as needed
Perform periodic regression testing on released products
Ensure UAT test cases are still relevant.

Working Conditions
The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday.

Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and manage stress.

The role requires mínimal travel (15%) to advance initiatives and visit team members across Canada.

Application Suport Experience 3 years min
Nice to have: 12 years' experience in NetSuite SuiteScript

Education/Certification/Designation

A bachelor's degree or college diploma in Software Development/Engineering, Computer Science or a similar/relevant discipline.

Competencies

Strong organizational and project management skills.
Proficiency with fundamental backend programming languages. You should know how to code and have a good amount of experience under your belt.
Ability to work in an Agile environment

Atlassian Suite (Jira & Confluence)
Kafka and ksqldb knowledge
Any knowledge for any of the above would be considered as an asset
