- Assist with research, review, preparation, and submission of new license applications.
- Assist in maintaining compliance policies, guidelines, procedures, and standards providing guidance on regulatory requirements.
- Review and maintain compliance-related training programs to ensure relevance with current regulatory requirements.
- Assist with timely reporting and filings to regulatory and government agencies according to licensing and legal requirements.
- Monitor and report on market developments, regulatory applications, and proceedings across all operational markets.
- Conduct other compliance tasks as necessary.
- Support compliance risk initiatives across departments and foster a compliance culture.
- Assist in compliance audits across operational departments to ensure regulatory law compliance.
- Produce clear and timely weekly and monthly compliance audit reports.
- Assist internal support groups in remediating compliance issues.
- Complete and report on weekly quality assurance audits.
- Conduct ad-hoc audits as requested by Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Audits.
- Draft, review, and propose amended contract language based on regulatory changes for an assigned region to ensure compliance with local and state laws.
- Review and audit letter management processes for regulatory compliance across operational departments.
- Prepare draft notification letters for review, coordinating approval of customer-related correspondence.
- Post-secondary education in law, law clerk, paralegal, business, regulatory affairs, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in regulatory audits or compliance reviews, understanding U.S. and Canada energy regulations.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to handle time-sensitive projects concurrently.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well under time constraints, multitask, problem-solve, and evaluate results.
- Function effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.

This role is ideal for recent paralegal graduates looking for a full-time position or individuals completing placement hours wanting to transition to full-time with us.
This role is not suitable for anyone in medical or pharmaceutical fields.POSITION:
The Analyst, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance reports to the Manager, Regulatory Affairs and Audits with an indirect report to the Director, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance; supporting regulatory compliance filing, reporting, and auditing processes.
