Full-time Service Advisor
Come join the multi award-winning dealership Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. Service department. We are immediately seeking a Service Advisor for our newly expanded Winnipeg West location.

The Service Advisor is responsible for:

Advising customers about necessary service for routine maintenance
Determining automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms, clarifying descriptions of problems
Conferring with the customers about inspection results; recommend corrective measures and prepare work order for needed repairs
Preparation of repair orders showing time, cost, and labor estimates for service
Checking for outstanding recalls or updates on the vehicle
Invoicing and closing work orders
Explaining the work performed and the charges to the customer
Handling customer complaints
Following all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Handling service department filing and records
Updating client information
Maintaining positive relationships with customers, other employees, and management
Always presenting self in professional manner
Other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience Required:

High School Diploma
Basic Computer knowledge
Must have an outgoing, friendly personality and exceptional customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution
Good organizational ability
Sales experience promoting services is an asset
Courses in automotive mechanics are an asset
Valid driver's License
CDK experience is an asset
Experience working in an automotive or truck dealership service department is an asset
