As a faculty member of the School of Health and Community Services, you will play a key role in promoting academic excellence and creating an effective learning environment.
You are a licensed hairstylist with a diploma in hairstyling and possess a relevant combination of current (within the last five (5) years) industry experience and teaching experience relative to all aspects of hairstyling, ideally having a subspecialty.
The successful candidate should have a strong background in all vocational learning outcomes related to hairstyling, including haircutting (shaping), colouring, hairdressing, hair extensions, wigs, sales, and marketing.

Demonstrated critical-thinking skills with the ability to apply a creative, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving is a must. Our ideal candidate is flexible, adaptable and has the ability to remain current within a constantly changing environment.You are comfortable working with technology and are proficient in a variety of computer applications including word processing, presentation, e-mail, learning management systems, online learning applications and various web applications.
NOTE:
This position requires the ability to teach day and/or evening classes.
As per the full-time salary grid.
