- Manage the Processing/inspecting incoming orders, denote damages as required.
- Ensure Staff complete their tasks in priority sequence and a timely manner.
- Utilize available tools and technologies to improve efficiency and process.
- Assist in ensuring all areas of the department are clean, organized, and safe.
- Cultivate a continuous improvement culture to ensure all warehouse employees follow processes implemented to allow department efficiencies.
- Create warehouse shine maps to relevant duties as required for all warehouse employees.
- Create and manage cycle count schedule for warehouse employees to ensure required number of inventory counts are processed as required. Cycle counts are performed as a documented process and ensure integrity of results.
- Collaborate with manager to ensure all necessary tools, equipment and supplies are available and are in good working condition where applicable.
- Assist in inventory discrepancy resolution in a timely manner: Investigate inventory discrepancies, ensure all on hand inventory is assigned a bin location.
- Responsible for back-order filling and maintenance.
- Assist in retail area maintenance.
- Assist in other areas of warehouse as required: Cross train where applicable and ensure pick lists are processed in a timely fashion and are following process.
- Create schedule and manage training for all warehouse employees and ensure cross training is being done on a regular basis so all staff can cover in all areas.
- Responsible for employee management: which includes but not limited to, discipline, training, engagement, and support.
- Ability to manage a team.
- Physically able to lift heavier items on a regular basis.
- Able to wear required PPE.
- Forklift certified.
- Team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors daily.
- Able to deal with Customer's, Co-workers, and vendors professionally.
- Able to prioritize and re prioritize when required throughout the day.
