Description
Chinook's Edge School Division invites applications from qualified individuals for the position of Vice-Principal at École Olds High School (Grades 9-12 with approximately 660 students), effective the school year. The successful candidate will be a pedagogical leader who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, a proven record of excellence in teaching at the secondary level, evidence of success in leading and encouraging professional learning, demonstrated abilities to work with a wide-range of community agencies, and a willingness to be involved in the extracurricular activities of the school. Administrative duties will include an active role in instructional leadership and all aspects of school leadership. Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a school-based administrator, and those who have completed or are working toward a Master's degree in Education.We ask that applicants prepare both a cover letter and resume, complete with the names and telephone numbers of three current work related references.
