Business Development Associate (June to September - Summer Contract)

Slalom is a modern consulting firm focused on strategy, technology, and business transformation. Our goal is to provide hands-on consulting experience where students enjoy their work and envision their future at Slalom. The program includes virtual classroom sessions, on-demand learning, project-based work, and mentorship from senior consultants. Students are also encouraged to engage in company events and internal initiatives during their summer with us.

Slalom Montreal is seeking a business development associate, on a full-time contract from June to September, to collaborate with the Sales Executive and other business development teams in Partnerships & Client Services. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in exploring a long-term career in business development.

Please note the possibility of this opportunity transitioning to a permanent full-time role after the contract period.

So, what will you be doing?

- Support Sales Operations: Assist the team in sales pipeline reporting, data quality, and administrative tasks.

- Gain experience in Sales Pursuits: Support sales and client account teams with proposals.

- Provide Account Support: Accompany sales and client account teams in account planning.

- Manage documents: Categorize and archive sales assets, such as proposal samples and credentials.

What are we seeking?

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

- Demonstrated quantitative skills, analytical thinking, excellent communication abilities, and an action-oriented approach.

- Organized, action-oriented, and highly collaborative individuals.

- Working knowledge of financial concepts.

- Interest in pursuing a career in business development.

- Full-time availability from June to September 2024.

- Bilingual in English & French (oral and written).

Hybrid/In-office: We operate in a hybrid environment, but expect individuals to be able to collaborate in person if required by team leadership.
