- Offer guidance on Labor and Employee Relations, including handling grievances
- Participate in collective bargaining and assist in preparing proposals and maintaining records
- Ensure compliance with internal HR policies and relevant legislation
- Contribute to HR projects such as policy reviews, employee surveys, and compensation assessments
- Assist with various HR initiatives including training, performance management, and recognition programs
- Provide coaching and advice to leaders on best practices in people management
- Support payroll and benefits functions as needed
- Collaborate on in-house training programs and partnerships for program delivery
- Take on special projects and other assigned duties
- Provide insights on labor and employee matters in mergers and acquisitions
- University degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field with at least 5 years of HR generalist experience, focusing on Labor Relations
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare or equivalent education/experience
- Ability to analyze information effectively, especially under pressure
- Experience handling confidential data with integrity
- Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws
- Some travel may be required
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
- Experience in Labor Relations, Employee Relations, and contract interpretation

This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.
