    Job Title: HR Assistant Manager

    Reporting To: HR Manager

    Job Summary:

    The HR Assistant Manager provides administrative support to the HR Manager and oversees the full recruitment cycle. This role ensures quality service for all employees, assists in implementing HR strategies and policies, and supports branches in the US. The HR Assistant Manager also provides advice on legal and labor law issues and handles day-to-day HR functions to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement and review organizational structures in supported divisions.
    • Act as a change agent to foster a positive work environment.
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job profiling, sourcing, selection, interviews, and offer presentations.
    • Assist in payroll processing, tracking vacation and sick time.
    • Respond to employee inquiries promptly.
    • Maintain employee records and database.
    • Administer onboarding for new hires.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
    • Support US branches.
    • Participate in HR projects and duties as assigned.
    • Handle HR administration queries.
    • Assist in annual performance evaluations and succession planning.
    • Organize HR files and correspond with government entities.
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.

    Qualifications:

    • University degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
    • 2-4 years of generalist HR experience (CPHR is an asset).
    • Enthusiasm for working in a transforming environment.
    • Knowledge of US employment regulations.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
    • Commitment to professional growth and career development.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Bilingual (French & English) oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain internal and external relationships.
