What you will do:
Reporting to the Director, Client Services, Employee and Labour Relations, the HR Generalist uses a customer focused approach to execute the human resources strategy that is aligned to enabling the overall business strategy.
The HR Generalist works with a high degree of independence to provide support to the members of the HR team.
The Human Resources
Generalist provides human resources services to the members of the Client Services team and our clients, that support and assist with a variety of programs including but not limited to employee and labour relations, job evaluation, salary calculation, job description support, human resources administration and investigation processes.
The HR Generalist will work closely with their business area to proactively identify areas of improvement and work to solve them.
The HR Generalist's purpose is primarily to provide support to, and collaborate with, the Human Resources Business Partners to ensure efficient and streamlined HR operations and administrative processes to achieve excellent internal customer service; proactively build a positive culture and champion equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) efforts.

- An understanding of HR Business Partner relationships and relevant College policies and procedures.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks while dealing with frequent interruptions and tight timelines.
- Ability to work with, and adapt successfully to, shifting priorities, variations in work schedules, locations and/or tasks and respond to changing procedures, technology and/or policies in a positive, appropriate manner.
Skills
- Excellent organizational, change management and analytical skills.
