    The Opportunity

    If you're ready to lace up your sneakers and lead the charge in promoting anti-racism, equity, diversity, and inclusion both on and off the field, then this UTS Blues gig is for you

    Are you a powerhouse with HPE Honour Specialist Qualifications, a playbook brimming with five years of teaching focused on HPE, and a trophy case filled with leadership accolades in both curricular and co-curricular athletics?

    You'll knock it out of the park if you've got a proven track record establishing practices of ways sport can promote Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (AEDI) on and off the field with your commitment and creative programming in the overall student experience.

    The UTS Blues are housed in our brand-new athletics facilities (a double gymnasium and fitness centre) located within the U of T campus.

    We are looking for an all-star teacher with both Health & Physical Education (HPE) experience, and a demonstrated commitment to anti-racism, equity, diversity, and inclusion through sport, to join the school's HPE Department. This is a full-time (%FTE) continuing bargaining unit position, starting September 1, .

    The heavy hitter will be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, and will have:

  • HPE Honour Specialist Qualifications.
  • A minimum of five years of teaching experience with a focus on HPE.
  • Demonstrated involvement and leadership in curricular and co-curricular HPE and athletics, and
  • Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of the role of equity diversity and inclusion in school co-curriculars and athletics.
