    IT Technician - Full-Time

    IT Toronto, Ontario, Canada

    Description

    We are looking for an experienced IT professional to join our dynamic IT team in Toronto. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the core responsibilities of the position will center on providing technical support to bureaus, head office and clients. You will use your skills to implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for computer hardware, operating systems and all critical business applications.

    This position is expected to work rotational shifts, including early and late hours.

    Responsibilities:

    • Timely support to all end-user questions and support requests from users and clients or escalating to the corresponding IT staff.
    • Point of contact for desktop and laptop support and troubleshooting.
    • Perform complex problem determination and resolution, identifying hardware and software problems.
    • Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages.
    • Proficiently manage and support MS Active Directory, MS Azure and email systems such as MS Office 365
    • Utilize scripting to efficiently deploy changes across multiple systems and platforms.
    • Respond to antivirus and malware threats detected on systems.
    • Assist in the creation and maintenance of Support team processes and procedures.

    Requirements:

    • College or university education in the relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
    • Excellent skills working with Microsoft Windows computers, Apple Mac devices and mobile devices
    • Strong skills of device and patch management tools such as SCCM, or Intune.
    • Proven experience working with MS Active Directory, MS Azure, MS Exchange and Office 365
    • Knowledge of patch management, firewalls and security/threat prevention systems
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Communication skills in French is an asset
    • Experience in AWS is preferred

    Licenses or certifications:

    • A+, Microsoft and other technology-related certifications are preferred

    Description

    Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) professionnel(le) en informatique d'expérience pour se joindre à notre équipe dynamique des TI à Toronto. Relevant de la direction des opérations des TI, ce poste est principalement responsable du soutien technique aux bureaux, siège social et clients. Vous utiliserez vos compétences pour appliquer des solutions techniques et fournir un soutien de haute qualité à propos du matériel informatique, des systèmes d'exploitation et de toutes les applications commerciales importantes.

    Ce poste comporte des quarts de travail sur une base rotative, y compris tôt le matin et tard le soir.

    Responsabilités :

    • Soutien ponctuel pour répondre à toutes les questions et demandes des utilisateurs et des clients ou transfert au membre du personnel TI concerné.
    • Point de contact pour le soutien et le dépannage concernant les ordinateurs fixes et portables.
    • Déterminer l'origine et résoudre des problèmes matériels et logiciels complexes.
    • Installer, configurer et mettre à niveau des systèmes d'exploitation et logiciels, un utilisant les logiciels commerciaux et administratifs standards.
    • Gérer et soutenir judicieusement MS Active Directory, MS Azure et les systèmes de courriel comme MS Office 365.
    • Utiliser le scriptage pour déployer des changements sur de multiples systèmes et plateformes.
    • Répondre aux menaces d'antivirus et maliciels détectés dans les systèmes.
    • Participer à la création et au maintien des processus et procédures de l'équipe de soutien.

    Exigences :

    • Études collégiales ou universitaires dans un domaine pertinent ou l'équivalent d'une combinaison d'études et d'expérience professionnelle.
    • Excellentes compétences professionnelles concernant les ordinateurs Microsoft Windows, les appareils Apple Mac et autres appareils mobiles.
    • Solides compétences concernant les outils de gestion des appareils et correctifs comme SCCM ou Intune.
    • Expérience professionnelle reconnue concernant MS Active Directory, MS Azure, MS Exchange et Office 365.
    • Connaissance de la gestion de correctifs, pare-feu et systèmes de prévention de sécurité/menaces.
    • Excellentes aptitudes de communication écrite et verbale.
    • L'aptitude de communiquer en français est un atout.
    • Une expérience en AWS de préférence.

    • A+, Microsoft et autres attestations technologiques de préférence.
