    Are you a highly skilled (and fully ticketed) Heavy Duty Mechanic (310T) with a passion for working on On-road Trucks?
    Do you hold a journeyman or red seal heavy duty on-road Heavy Duty Mechanic ticket (310T) and are looking for the next stage in your career?

    Our client is seeking a dedicated Heavy Duty On-Road Mechanic to join their afternoon shift.

    The ideal candidate will be a fully ticketed journeyman or red seal heavy equipment technician 310T with expertise in repairing, rebuilding, certifying, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of fleet vehicles ranging from cargo trucks to long-haul semi-trucks and trailers.

    $36.40/hour + $1.15 shift premium
    Straight afternoon shift: 2:00pm to 10:pm (no rotation needed) Mon - Fri

    Responsibilities

    What you'll be doing:
    As part of mechanic team, you'll play a crucial role in the repair and servicing of trucks and trailers (class 6 and class 8 semi-trucks + trailers), including but not limited to:

    Conducting comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues
    Performing repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, primarily on Cummins and Navistar engines
    Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
    Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
    Providing assistance and guidance to less experienced technicians as needed

    Qualifications

    What you bring:
    A 310T Journeyman or Red Seal ticket mandatory
    Class 5 License and a clean Drivers Abstract

    Class 1 license is nice to have
    Experience with International is a bonus.

    Ability to work well in a team environment
    Flexibility and adaptability
