WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Oversee the setup, organization and service of the dining room and bar and to ensure that the highest standards of quality service be maintained.
Responsible for scheduling staff, assigning responsibilities and delegating duties to servers and bartenders
Mentor, coach and give feedback to staff on methods to improve service and guest satisfaction
Ensure that gratuities for any group functions are tracked
Responsible for all transactions that are rung into the POS and speak with accounting on any discrepancies
Responsible for acting on guest comments and the resolution of concerns
Update the supervisor log daily
Work with our Health and Safety Advisor to ensure a safe working environment for staff
Provide input to kitchen on menus, special events and presentation
Assist the Manager, Restaurant Services with employee communication. Document information for reviews in employee files (both positive and negative) and contribute fresh ideas and motivation for the staff in these reviews
Be an ambassador of our core values and mission statement
Motivate servers with incentives and celebrations
