    If you have answered yes to these questions then Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Trust can offer you the opportunity to use all of your clinical and interpersonal skills as we have 2x Registered Nurse vacancies within our Primary Care Team at HMP Garth.


    The Healthcare team at HMP Garth is a team who not only look after the healthcare needs of the prisoners, but who also have the opportunity to have a real impact on promoting health and well-being.

    HMP Garth is a Category B male prison in Leyland.


    We are looking for individuals who are keen to take on roles with varied duties, supporting the delivery of excellent healthcare to prisoners.

    As a Registered Nurse, you'll be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team by bringing your top-notch clinical skills and passion for care.


    With plenty of primary care experience, you could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics (well man, health promotion), undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells, and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency.

    Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 6,400 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 160 locations.


    We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford,Trafford and the borough of Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.

    Pay Enhancements 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.
