The BERMANFALK CAD Drawing Technical team is growing, and we are looking for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic CAD Drawing Technical Coordinator to join our team.

Reporting to the Manager, Technical, the Coordinator integrates information prepared by internal and external resources to create a single, unified set of information that is used to develop custom case goods and seating drawings through the established approvals process, for manufacturing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Coordinator directly manages projects in the Technical department, working in partnership with Project Managers and Interior Design Clients, in handling drawing development through the drawings review and approvals process.
They support the projects and team in all aspects of all active projects and schedules, through the design approvals and manufacturing process.
DRAWING MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
- Participate in Hand-Off meetings to review project scope and specifications.
- Create and populate project information and log per existing processes.
- Review internal and external documents corresponding to drawings, such as:
- Interior Design specifications and/or line drawings
- Hand-Off agenda
- Supplier quotes
- Other documents relevant to drawings development.
- Distribute drawing assignments within the department.
- Manage drawing revisions and update relevant information.
- Review drawings for accuracy in construction, design, formatting, and overall alignment to BERMANFALK Construction Standards including verification hardware, components, and finishes.
- Submit drawings for review (manufacturing, construction and drawing approval).
- Be the conduit to review and coordinate markups and queries from clients, factory, and internal team for processing.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

○ Understanding of professional video conferencing etiquette

- Highly dependable and able to execute responsibilities with little supervision
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and thrives in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet with overseas team members
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to speak Vietnamese / Mandarin Chinese an asset
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Completion of postsecondary degree, with a focus in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Carpentry / Woodworking, or similar
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoDesk Fusion 360 with strong drafting skills
- Experience working in the hospitality industry an asset
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in a similar role
