A reputable bank in Montreal is seeking an experienced Onboarding Agent for its recruitment team
on a four-month contract with potential for a permanent role, contingent upon successful
performance. This position is a part-time role, it requires 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day
for 5 days a week and will be performed remotely. This position involves managing
comprehensive onboarding processes including conducting background checks, implementing
detailed onboarding plans, and handling various onboarding tasks.
Responsibilities:
● Coordinate thorough background checks and verify credentials of new hires.
● Collect, process, and verify necessary employment documents.
● Design and execute structured onboarding plans outlining initial training sessions,
orientations, and timelines for new employees.
● Collaborate with HR and departmental heads to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires.
● Maintain and update HR databases with employee records, ensuring compliance with all
legal and procedural standards.
● Provide continuous support and guidance to new hires throughout the onboarding process,
resolving any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
● Demonstrated experience in onboarding processes, especially within a banking or financial
services environment.
● Fluent bilingual communication skills in English and French.
● Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
● Strong knowledge of HR practices, regulations, and compliance in the banking sector.
● High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
● Must be based in Montreal or willing to relocate.
