Description

The communications manager oversees, directs, and/or co-ordinates with other departments in order to serve our constituents in ways that are consistent with IFLC's mission and values and encouraging their continued ministry involvement thus advancing the ministry and its mission.

The ideal person for this role has a keen interest in written communication and an eye for detail.

They should also be a natural team leader, have a strong grasp on technology, and have professional experience in both writing and editing.

Accountability:
Accountable to the executive director
Excellence in the Communication of Biblical Truth and its Application
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

Good strategic planning skills
Flexible, multi-task oriented
the CD as well as general IFLC strategic planning
media and project manager
Facilitate effective communication and co-operation interdepartmentally
Content Management and Strategy
Overseeing and directing content for all ministry materials, projects, and constituent

communications consistent with our brand and a pastoral orientation and tone

Planning, writing, approving, and/or executing the print versions of Insights magazine and ministry letters
brand management and compliance across all platforms and media
Providing final approval for print and online written resources
Creating marketing-related content as needed

Developing special mailings and co-ordinating with the project and media manager and operations

Direct all ministerial programs related to the junior high and senior high students of Highlands Presbyterian Church
